MINOR SERVICE - OIL SERVICE
Every 10k is a minor service - oil and filter. Do not follow the factory 15K and go 7k for tuned vehicles. Oil is cheap, engines are not!
INTERMEDIATE SERVICE
Every 30k is an intermediate service - oil and filter, cabin filter & air filter, brake fluid flush, remote batteries.
MAJOR SERVICE
Every 60k is a major service - oil and filter, cabin filter & air filter, remote batteries, brake fluid flush, fuel filter, DSG gearbox oil and filter (unless automatic, manual, tiptronic or multitronic), spark plugs and haldex oil.
Additional: Water pump & timing belt and poly belt on belt driven engines should be done every 60k.
INTERMEDIATE SERVICE
Every 90k is another intermediate service - same as 30k plus a poly belt / accessory belt.
TIPS FROM THOSE 'IN THE KNOW'
Replace Haldex fluid every 30k rather than 60k, Gearbox oil change at 40k for DSG is advised. Front and rear differential oils are "longlife" but replace every 60K to be safe.

from 374 reviewsAs is the case for VAG cars, a stage 1 tune really unlocks the performance potential of the engine and gives you the extra 'shove in the back' you would expect from a performance car. I have read online that the gearing of the B9 S5 means that you really feel the torque of the engine in third gear onwards. I can confirm that this is the case with the 034 stage 1 93 octane tune, and the torque in third gear is like a relentless wave! Installation was easy and straightforward. The only negative is that you feel tempted to access the extra power/torque more often, so fuel economy plummets very very quickly. There doesn't seem to be any negative impact on fuel economy when driving normally though. All in all, a very worthwhile upgrade and highly recommended! If you are on the fence, do it! As an added bonus, vagparts provided great customer service :)

For a part so cheap and easy to change, it makes sense to change these as often as you change your oil if you're running a modified engine and every 10K if you're running an older standard engine...just to have a look at the cam, give the fuel pump a clean and replace the follower. The INA is as good as the OEM and well priced.

A cheap, simple to install modification and easily noticeable, immediate difference. Literally takes 5 minutes to install.

As always 034 parts do as they say. A great little upgrade to address the big issue of MQB subframes moving around. The whole front end of the car feels better. Braking feels much improved. You brake more efficiently as the tyres have more direct contact as the subframe does not move around.
