Oil Filter & Oil Drain Plug Bundle - Volkswagen Golf GTI MK7 - 06L115562B & 06L103801
dont be fooled by all the junk out there, choose a company who races, who is passionate and who is not just in it for the money. It is clear 034 puts a huge amount of engineering and testing into their ECU files and it shows. These files are some of the best i've ran. Their support and product knowledge is second to none. This is a core brand with high quality product for a reasonable price. Best of all do it yourself at home and dont bother with any dealer workshop politics.
I reached out to VagParts on Facebook, very freindly team, willing to answer all questions. Very very fast delivery
Awesome service and great quality product for a fair price.
N90281802 - Haldex Fill & Drain Plug - Gen 2, Gen 4 & Gen 5 Haldex.
Recieved great service and advice, part turned up as stated. Would definitely recommend. Thanks
I was able to find exactly what I needed with ease and the product is of good quality
Delivered on time. Love that I can get genuine parts through Vagparts.
Installed this on a B5 1.8t Quattro - facelift. It's tricky to fit - the top bolt as it mounts to the subframe is difficult to tighten and requires a little finesse. I put the bottom bolt in the hole just poking through enough to keep it square, put a ring spanner on the top nut, then tightened down the top bolt.
Additionally, if it seems like you're not getting it to fit properly - like you're at the end of adjustment ranges -
- Install with all hardware very loose
- tighten the subframe bracket in its most extreme rearward position
- Tighten the swaybar mount end
- then tightening down the in-between bolts to pull it all together.
(One side of my subframe was so bent out of shape that the control arm would have rubbed on the reinforcement kit, hence it being "out of adjustment range" )
I'd also suggest using the OEM swaybar mount -> subframe bolts if you're using the OEM swaybar. The supplied bolts are way too long to use with the OEM swaybar.
Performance wise the brackets do make an actual difference to overall handling. I can squeal the front outer tyre on hard corners now.
I would recommend this if you have a B5. Even with the puny OEM swaybar the rear subframe IS BENDING. It will crack, eventually. Small price to pay, plus it looks neat and gives you a great excuse to get a giant swaybar later :D
Excellent service, safely packaged. Order even arrived a day earlier than expected!
