Service & Maintenance Guide
Minor Service - Oil Service
Every 10kĀ is a minor service -Ā oil and filter. Do not follow the factoryĀ 15KĀ and goĀ 7kĀ for tuned vehicles.Oil is cheap, engines are not!
Intermediate Service
EveryĀ 30kĀ is an intermediate service -Ā oil and filter,Ā cabin filter & air filter, brake fluid flush, remote batteries.
Major Service
EveryĀ 60k is a major service -Ā oil and filter,Ā cabin filter & air filter, remote batteries, brake fluid flush,Ā fuel filter, DSG gearbox oil and filter (unless automatic, manual, tiptronic or multitronic), spark plugs andĀ haldex oil.
Intermediate Service
EveryĀ 90kĀ is another intermediate service - same asĀ 30kĀ plus aĀ poly belt / accessory belt.
Additional: Water pump & timing belt and poly belt on belt driven engines should be done every 60k.
ReplaceĀ Haldex fluid every 30k rather than 60k, Gearbox oil change at 40k for DSG is advised. Front and rearĀ differentialĀ oils are "longlife" but replace every 60k to be safe.āØSee:Ā Transmission & drivetrain
