034 Motorsport is proud to unveil the all-new Cast Stainless Steel Performance Downpipe for Audi 8V S3/TT/TTS & MK7 Volkswagen Golf R models equipped with EA888 Gen 3 1.8T/2.0T engines! Offering increased horsepower and torque throughout the powerband, reduced turbocharger lag, and an enhanced exhaust note, this is the ultimate downpipe solution for the discerning Audi/Volkswagen enthusiast.

This downpipe really is the jam. If you are looking for one the best sounding and highest quality downpipe on the market this is it.

For the IS38 a huge amount of torque is added in lower RPMs which leads to a less 'laggy' car, time to spool is decreased resulting in rapid acceleration.

Optimized for increased flow and maximum performance, the MQB 1.8T/2.0T Cast Stainless Steel Performance Downpipe features organic geometry and a massive 101.6mm diameter Euro 3 racing catalytic converter in the factory location. This complete downpipe solution includes an integrated v-band flange at the turbine outlet, integrated oxygen sensor bung after the catalyst, OEM-style corrugated flex bellow, and factory-location exhaust hanger. The MQB 1.8T/2.0T Cast Stainless Steel Performance Downpipe is constructed from 304 stainless steel and TIG-welded for maximum durability and corrosion resistance.

034 Motorsport's MQB 1.8T/2.0T Cast Stainless Steel Downpipe was developed entirely in-house on 034Motorsport's Development MK7 Volkswagen GTI & 8V Audi S3 utilizing the latest in 3D Scanning Technology, CAD Software, and Rapid Prototyping Techniques. Final production units were then tested extensively on multiple enthusiast-owned 8V Audi A3/S3 & Mk7 Volkswagen Golf/GTI/R vehicles before release.

IS20 vs. IS38 - IS20 Performance Comparisons are applicable to 8V Audi A3 2.0T and MkVII Volkswagen GTI 2.0T models equipped with the factory IS20 Turbocharger. IS38 Performance Comparisons are applicable to Audi S3 and MkVII Volkswagen Golf R models equipped with the factory IS38 Turbocharger.

  • Important: This downpipe requires a Stage 2 ECU remap to eliminate any check engine lights due to removal of the factory catalyst.
  • Please Note: 1.8T models may require a separate 76mm to 60mm reducer (not included) for proper fitment with the factory exhaust system.

    A back order product means we do not have this in our local warehouse. We will have to 'back order' this in for you. This can take anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks. Popular items can go on back order but are often restocked in a short time such as 1 week.

    That can range from 100% down to 20% - The savings will generally be 30% to 50%.

    Service & Maintenance Guide

    Minor Service - Oil Service

    Every 10k is a minor service - oil and filter. Do not follow the factory 15K and go 7k for tuned vehicles. Oil is cheap, engines are not!

    Intermediate Service

    Every 30k is an intermediate service - oil and filter, cabin filter & air filter, brake fluid flush, remote batteries.

    Major Service

    Every 60k is a major service - oil and filter, cabin filter & air filter, remote batteries, brake fluid flush, fuel filter, DSG gearbox oil and filter (unless automatic, manual, tiptronic or multitronic), spark plugs and haldex oil.

    Additional: Water pump & timing belt and poly belt on belt driven engines should be done every 60k.

    Intermediate Service

    Every 90k is another intermediate service - same as 30k plus a poly belt / accessory belt.

    Minor Service - Oil Service

    Replace Haldex fluid every 30k rather than 60k, Gearbox oil change at 40k for DSG is advised. Front and rear differential oils are "longlife" but replace every 60k to be safe.
