Your EA888 Gen 4 2.0T Dynamic+ Performance software was developed entirely in-house on 034 Motorsport's development Audi 8Y S3 & Golf MK8R. These calibrations were then refined on multiple test vehicles around the world. Significant time has gone into road and track testing to make sure the software is powerful, safe and reliable.
Included at no extra cost is the Stage 1 Dynamic+ Performance TCU Software for Audi S3 8Y equipped with the DQ381 G2 7-Speed DSG transmission. A stage 2 Gen 2 DQ381 TCU tune is available.
Please note some later year gearbox software is still in development. In this case a lower torque file will be provided which is safe to run for your gearbox. Upgrading to higher torque files and stage 1 TCU is free of charge when they become available.

Both programs have the same flashing capabilities, but 034SPI allows you to flash tunes wirelessly using the Dynamic+ Flashing Dongle and your mobile device, change fuel maps on the fly, configure live data displays, record and submit data logs to 034Motorsport's Tuning Support team, and utilize diagnostic support tools such as DTC/CEL code read/clear, and more!
Lets put some corn in! Audi E85 S3 8Y tuning
Free with every stage 1 or stage 2 ECU file is corresponding E85 fuel type file. This is NOT a flex fuel tune. Straight E85 should only be put into the tank and the car run on low load for 20 minutes before spirited driving. You will need to flash to the E85 file at this time.
Gasoline blends and race fuel mixtures should not be used, engine damage could occur if the incorrect fuel or octane is used. We strongly recommend an ethanol content gauge be used so that you can monitor the actual ethanol content at the pump you are using.
Significant Improvements to Torque Application and AMAX Shift Strategy
In order to unlock the serious amounts of torque left on the table your DQ381 needs calibration for safe and effective operation. ECU and TCU computers work synchronously to properly apply torque to the vehicles drivetrain. Stage 1 ECU files come with FREE DQ381 stage 1 file and there is also a Stage 2 DQ381 file for purchase.
We recommend you package stage 1 or stage 2 ECU tunes with the stage 2 TCU file. The stage 1 file is limited on features, and is more of a necessity to run the high torque numbers safely.
For vehicles with TCU software in development the ECU will safely limit the overall torque that is able to be produced. It is safe to drive your car in this condition with only the ECU tuned. Upgrading to higher torque files and stage 1 TCU is free of charge when they become available.
Torque Safety Strategy Enhancements:The Dynamic+ ECU Tuning accurately reports torque values to the TCU to ensure that all safety systems are intact in both control units, and the added torque from tuning is properly adjusted for when driving/shifting, including all safety systems designed to protect the engine and transmission. This results in better shift quality as the transmission is not having to reduce engine torque or having to adapt to misreported inputs.
Clutch Pressure Increases:In order to safely apply the increased horsepower and torque, DSG Clutch Pressures are increased in all drive modes. Expect to feel firmer and more solid shifts!
Optimized Shift Points:In order to take advantage of the increased powerband from the turbocharger, Dynamic+ Tuning optimizes the shift points in Drive & Sport Mode to maximize acceleration while retaining smooth drivability.
Improved Shift Speeds:To further enhance the acceleration of your Golf R and 8Y Audi S3 , the DQ381 G2 shift times are dramatically decreased in all driving modes, which ultimately results in quicker acceleration.
Kickdown Switch Disabled in Manual Mode:When in Manual mode, you no longer need to worry about accidentally pushing through the kickdown switch on the throttle pedal!
Launch Control Optimizations:From the factory, the DQ381 G2 launch control strategies used are very neutered and designed for a vehicle on a non-optimal surface with low-grip tires. 034Motorsport Engineers have optimized the launch by raising the factory torque limit to take advantage of a better surface and a grippier tire. This ensures that your Golf R and 8Y Audi S3 will 60ft much more effectively and efficiently!
Additionally, significant work was put into refining how AMAX shifts are applied during Launch Control, ensuring that each shift maximizes potential acceleration without inducing wheelspin.

THERMAL MANAGEMENT SAFETY STRATEGIES:
With increased power, comes increased heat. With increased heat, comes the need for additional management. For charge air temperature, 034Motorsport has implemented key safety features to keep your engine running optimally and safely in virtually any condition - just like the OEM calibration. Substantial effort was spent on balancing the trade off of charge temp for power, and improving the compressor efficiency so that it doesn't generate too much charge temp.
Charge Air Temp:When the charge temp exceeds 80*C there is a reduction in power output. When the charge temp exceeds 85*C there is a more significant reduction in power output. This charge temp limitation is there to prevent knock events, which can severely damage a motor. With these safety measures in place, you can confidently drive your car, from the top of Pikes Peak to Death Valley, knowing the factory ECU has optimal performance and safety covered..
Coolant Temp/Fan Strategy:From the factory, Volkswagen & Audi like to run hotter water temps to reduce fluid friction losses from cooler, more viscous oil. While better for efficiency, this strategy becomes a safety issue when loads and heat are increased. 034Motorsport calibrators have rescaled the coolant temperature targets and fan control strategies to target lower coolant temperatures when in higher heat conditions, allowing the car to run within a safe heat range rescaled for the added heat that comes from tuning the engine. Once again, this means that 034Motorsport calibrators have kept your confidence in safety fully intact from the OEM configuration.
FUEL SYSTEM OPTIMIZATION:
While E85 provides substantial increases in power, it requires about 30% more fuel than standard pump gasoline per ignition cycle. Utilizing a variety of fuel stratified injection strategies, 034Motorsport calibrators have further optimized the factory fuelling system to be able to adequately support full E85 on factory hardware for Stage 1 & Stage 2.
FREE REVVING IN NEUTRAL & PARK:
The rev-limiter is now removed while in Neutral and Park. Impress friends and annoy those around you with limitless ease!
EXHAUST FLAPS PERMANENTLY OPEN IN DYNAMIC/RACE MODE:
From the Factory, Audi will open and close the exhaust flaps randomly, even in Dynamic mode. With 034Motorsport tuning, When set to Dynamic, the exhaust valves will now stay constantly open.
START/STOP BUTTON MEMORY:
Dynamic+ Tuning for the EA888.4 2.0T retains the Start/Stop engine functionality, but allows users to set the memory for the system based on preference. If you do not want the Start/Stop system to run, turn it off via the in-cabin button and the car will store that selection even after key cycling the car. If you would like it to stay on, select it to be on via the in-cabin button. This is done in a completely OEM fashion, helping enhance the overall experience of driving your car!
ACCURATE BOOST AND TORQUE REPORTING:
As with anything in life, it is always best to be truthful. This especially applies when it comes to reporting torque outputs in the ECU to the other control modules in the car, as well as displaying accurate boost readings to the driver via the boost gauge found on the Virtual Cockpit. With 034Motorsport Dynamic+ software, the ECU is reporting accurate torque values to critical systems like the TCU to ensure that all safety systems are intact in both control units, and the added torque from tuning is properly adjusted for when driving/shifting, including all safety systems designed to protect the engine and transmission.

Once you have taken the stock read of the ECU you can always flash your car back to stock at any time. You can also flash between stages.

Q: What is in the introductory email?

Q: I haven't got my introductory email
A: You may have to wait 1-3 business days to receive this email from the 034Motorsport team. Please also check your spam, updates, and other email tabs for the email from 034Motorsport. Q: What do I need to tune my vehicle with a laptop?
A: Windows 10/11 laptop, strong/stable internet connection, Dynamic+ flashing cable, a 20-amp battery supply charger/maintaner, and tuning account access.
I have everything I need what do I do next?
Please download the 034 flashing client if you haven't already, and review the Getting Started guide. You'll need to register your username on 034 Motorsport's server, by inputting your username/email address in the applicable field, and clicking the "Forgot/Reset Password" link. This will send an email to you that will allow you to set your own password, which you'll need to use to log into the flashing client software. Once you are logged into the flashing client, please click on the controller that you wish to program (either ECU - engine, or TCU - transmission) and proceed through the steps listed in the "Getting Started" guide to flash that controller. The files labeled "Stock" are completely OEM software calibrations, as you would have received from the factory, so please only flash these if you wish to go back to stock tuning.
I received an error message stating that "No products are available for this controller", what do I do?
If you receive the error message "No products are available for this controller", please email tuning@034motorsport.com directly, and someone from their tuning support team will advise you on the steps that they will take to get you access to the files that were purchased.
A: This is NOT a difficult process. If you have the ability to open and email and send an email, this is the same level of computer literacy needed.
Q: How long does the flashing process take?
A: The total time to tune the car is around 30 mins. Flashing between files, upgrading and so on once you have done the first installation is a couple of minutes.

Q: My car already has a tune on it, how do I remove it?
A: You may need to flash your car back to stock. You can do this by flashing the car to stock using the 034Motorsport flashing portal.
Q: Do I have to flash my ECU and TCU?
A: Yes, these are separate control units and need to be individually flashed.
Q: What is 91 AKI and 93 AKI? RON to AKI?
A: 91AKI is 95 RON and 93 AKI is 98 RON. When flashing select the file appropriate to the fuel octane you are using.
Q: How long do I have to wait for my tuning introductory email?
