Service & Maintenance Guide

Minor Service - Oil Service

Every 10k is a minor service - oil and filter. Do not follow the factory 15K and go 7k for tuned vehicles. Oil is cheap, engines are not!

Intermediate Service

Every 30k is an intermediate service - oil and filter, cabin filter & air filter, brake fluid flush, remote batteries.

Major Service

Every 60k is a major service - oil and filter, cabin filter & air filter, remote batteries, brake fluid flush, fuel filter, DSG gearbox oil and filter (unless automatic, manual, tiptronic or multitronic), spark plugs and haldex oil.

Additional: Water pump & timing belt and poly belt on belt driven engines should be done every 60k.

Intermediate Service

Every 90k is another intermediate service - same as 30k plus a poly belt / accessory belt.

Minor Service - Oil Service

Replace Haldex fluid every 30k rather than 60k, Gearbox oil change at 40k for DSG is advised. Front and rear differential oils are "longlife" but replace every 60k to be safe.

Best upgrade possible

I know there are more aggressive tunes out there but for a daily this is perfect and also so much better. There’s more torque throughout the range and fuel economy is better up to 110 on the highway.
The app is the unsung hero compared to others. Being able to see what the vehicle is doing in real time, a code reader included and being able to clear the codes makes this an absolute bargain and no brainer versus anything else

Simple at home Stage 1 upgrade

Very easy to setup software to connect to hardware unit. No dyno to quantify, however a noticeable difference in acceleration as well as throttle response. I had some issues getting the login email but it seemed to be my ISP blocking them - otherwise a different email worked straight away. No default start / stop turned off option by the look of it on the Golf T 7.5. A bonus, I wasn't aware of when purchasing was Bluetooth connection to engine with live parameters via iPhone / iPad. Looking forward to Stage 2 :)
